Love the second chance angle and that Lincoln was finally able to tell Vi what happened all those years ago. It was a true coming of age story, if not a bit later in life. What a great way to wrap up the series. Avery is such a fantastic, strong fmc. I love that both Avery and Wyatt had to learn to trust each other. They saw their errors and actively worked to fix them. 

This book was all about wrapping up the loose ends, but that didn't stop all the action and suspense. I do have to say one of my favorite parts was the chase in the woods. 🔥

Holy smokes. Where do I begin? This entire series just gets better and better. The amount of detail and imagery I'd just amazing. Each book introduces us to another facet of their world. This book was all about the Shroud Forest and the prophecy. 

The unraveling of the prophecy and the detail behind the Elf Lord, along with what his long-term goal was finally revealed. The imagery of the journey into Shroud Forest and the dangers there, as well as the sentient of the forest, was truly remarkable.

Holy smokes, what a great story. The amount of detail is amazing.  Having been affected by the comet, Avery now has to deal with the effects on her body. Not knowing what, if anything, can help her, Wyatt must turn to research to see if anything can be done. 

The detail and imagery of the libraries with their gargoyle researchers is phenomenal. The way the Bulgaria library is described makes me want to go & visit. Now Wyatt & Nicholas are having to work together to help save Avery. But that twist at the end was gut-wrenching.
