What a fantastic holiday read!! I love the entire Romeo & Juliet theme of feuding families the whole book has. But I loved that neither Jackson nor Emma could deny their attraction to each other. Throw in the adorable Marley & Mo to the mix & you have another level of cuteness.

I have to say the way they ended up in the situation at the beginning is pretty hilarious. But I love that the town was like 'nope. we are done with you'.  But I am here for more of the Pearce brothers & Josie, of course.

Absolute perfection. 🤌

The perfect blend of mystery, romance & spice. The family feud storyline was great, but what made it brilliant was the family dynamics, psychic & carnies vs. law enforcement. It had total Romeo and Juliet vibes happening. 

The stairwell & ferris wheel scenes will forever be favorites of mine. Their physical connection was electric. Loved Owen & Edward's instant bond. There's nothing like a little boy & his dog!!

After his wife died, Aiden found out she had been cheating on him, which hardened his heart. Britt wanted to get away and make a name for herself without being linked to the crazy Bailey carnies. But as odd crimes start happening, Britt returns to help with the forensic side of the investigation and finds more than clues. She finds her way into Aiden's heart.

This was such a great second book. I really loved Gwynn's spirit and attitude from the first book and was happy she got her own story. 

Wells I knew was going to have hidden layers and I loved watching his personality unfold. 

Gwynn & Wells' banter and chemistry was spot on and I loved the entire story line especially the continued Jones verus Penhallow feud. I really hope Bowen gets his own story now too.
