Winter is just a scared little girl who is afraid to trust others & herself. Everyone (but Summer) abandoned her, so it's no wonder she doesn't believe Theo's intentions. I loved watching the icy layers of Winter's armor melt away. Winter has been misunderstood for so long that she even believes herself to be the ice queen. It was fantastic watching Theo stand up for her & teach her she is lovable.

You had me at small town and hockey! It is a great story about two lost souls who find each other in the middle of nowhere. Love the reverse grumpy sunshine angle here. 

This story is full of family & love. The Easterly family is definitely one I would live to be a part of. And the Chisolm family taking in Colton just shows the love they have for him. 

Both Autumn & Colton are reeling from past mistakes in their lives, and both come to Ashfield to luck their wounds & regroup. Only they find more than they were looking for in each other & the old Easterly house on the hill.
