What a great story of coming together after losing a loved one. This story has some really funny parts and really touching parts.

Eloise comes to Oakley Island after her grandmother passes away and gets volun-told to stay and renovate the house as per gran's wishes. Elosie is accident prone, which makes for some hilarious situations.

Jake is the lawyer who was practically raised by Elosie's grandmother and is in charge of overseeing the will. As they both struggle with their loss, they find themselves constantly bickering & Jake fighting his attraction to a much younger Elosie until Jake gives into their chemistry.

This was a super cute book. Loved the horror meets event planning aspect. Kate has child guilt for not going into the family business but wants to prove herself to her family.

Drake is a horror novelist but has run into a bit of writers block. Wanting to write a story that means a little extra something he needs Kate's help to get it out the right way.

After one disaster after another will they be able to see they have the potential of having their own happily ever after or will it blow up in their faces?!

The Tanglewood Tea Shoppe by Lilac Mills

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Sweet Clean Romance
Second Chances
Baker/Horseman

I loved the story premise of the kind hearted niece getting rewarded for her heart. The idea of starting over and getting away from her current life situation rang true with me. Who hasn't wanted to just up and leave and start over.

Nick's story is multi layered and I loved his character. I wish there was a bit more about him though. I would have loved to seen a flash back or two about his past.

This a great read and well written. This is a sweet (clean) romance for those wanting a slow sweet romance. I do wish there would have been more of them falling for each other though.
