Absolutely loved Liv & Fletcher's story. From the moment she learns he is back in town at her annual exam I knew I would love the comedy & banter. I not only laughed out loud throughout the book but the story also had me crying, swooning & fanning myself.

The love and care that Liv showed to Maya and how she made it her goal to bring her out of her angry shell and not just babysit but love life with her was heartwarming. Fletch was hurting and just as lost as Maya but being back in his hometown allowed him to remember who he was and who he wanted to be.

This is a such a great book. It was funny and has achingly sad plot lines throughout.

Violet, an advice columnist, discovers her cheating spouse and her world unravels with one event after another. 

During one crazy event she meets Dez, a local fireman who helps Violet learn to be more true to herself and helps deal with the fallout from the craziness of the unlucky or lucky events in Violets life.

I loved watching both Violet's personal layers unfold as well as her and Dez's relationship unfold. The messages that Violet writes in her column is for poignant and makes you think. As someone who has dealt with her own fertility struggles, it was refreshing to see the issue discussed and tastefully addressed. Definitely recommend this book!!
