Have you read Chikalu Falls Series by Lena Hendrix yet? I has quickly jumped to be a favorite series of mine.
One of the characters I immediately fell in love with was grumpy old Mr. Bailey. In the series he is an old man trying to ignore everyone but he has a soft side especially with Jo and Honey!!
This novella, Choosing You, is a small glimpse into younger Mr. Bailey's life and how he and his wife Charlotte meet. In one of my reviews about Chikalu Falls I begged for Mr. Bailey's story and Lena did not disappoint. Only wish it was longer.
