Chikalu Falls Series by Lena Hendrix

I just finished this series and I have to say I LOVED it. I couldn't put them down. Lincoln stole my heart from the get-go!! Colin & Cole were such great side characters. I so glad they got their own story told. Each of these men are best friends who grew up together. Now adults they try to navigate their lives while supporting each other and their small town.

Finding You - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4🌶)

Lincoln is an ex-Marine who received letters while deployed from a mystery woman. After being discharged he helps his brother with his fishing guide business but can't find the mystery woman.

Keeping You - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 (4 🌶)

Colin left Chikalu to pursue music. But after tragedy strikes comes home to help his family. 

Protecting You - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 (3.5 🌶)

Growing up Cole followed his family's tradition to protect & serve Chikalu. Hiding a deep love for his best girl friend Maggie, he is wracked with guilt over secrets about the father of her baby.

Now for the real question...Do you prefer series or are you a stand alone reader?

Me? I'm a series girl if I love the book. I want to know all the side characters stories. Just call me nosy but I must know!!

The Mother Road Review

Ok let me start off by saying: this is my all time favorite (so far) from Meghan Quinn. I laughed so hard during this book that I had to leave the bedroom or I'd wake up my hubby!! Yes there are a couple steamy scenes (between Meghan and Elsie Silver I'm looking at Tents in a whole new way) but even if you aren't into steamy scenes you still need to read this. Just skip those parts that make you blush. 

The dynamic with this entire family is so realistic. I felt like I was in that RV with the family experiencing the trip. 'Son of a Herbert Hoover' is how the dad swears in this book and his variations had me rolling!!

This book made be smile, laugh, cry and cheer. I'm not gonna lie, I did actually cheer at the end & it made me want to take the Mother Road trip from Santa Monica to Chicago!!

This book will stay with me for a long time!!

Story Hangover!!

Do you ever finish a book or series and feel like you can't quite get over that story or characters?! Happens to me all the time. A really good book can make you feel like you are losing a friend or family.

Well as an author sometimes that happens when writing. You pour your whole heart into something and sometimes it is hard to get going again.

I am excited to say that after months of percolating over my next book I have finally written the first chapter of the prequel to my novels.

Introducing:

This is Paige and Trevor's story. And I'm excited to be back in the writing habit. Time to get the story in my head out so a new one can form!!

I do not have an eta yet but I felt super accomplished today and wanted to share!!

Things We Never Got Over Review

Finished this over the weekend!! All I can say is when am I going to get Nash and Lucien's stories? Especially after the bonus epilogue!! 

This book is a 5 ⭐️ read for me!!

I would have to say spice level is definitely a 4 🌶.

Anyone else read this and immediately want Knox or Jer to do their hair?! Not to mention the mental image of Knox with his leather half apron produced. 🥵🥵

I love all the side character and their depth. They help bring this small town romance to life!!

This is my first Lucy Score book and I have to say I am hooked!! Can't wait for the Knockemout series!!
